John Godfrey (Partner)
B.A. (UBC ’71), LL.B. (UBC ’75)
|
Upon obtaining his law degree in 1975,
John Godfrey articled with the Vancouver firm of Farris,
Vaughan, Wills, and Murphy. He worked as a prosecutor
with the Ministry of the Attorney General for two years
and joined MacIsaac, Clark & Company in their Nanaimo
office in 1978. Since 1986, John Godfrey has practised
out of the Victoria office of MacIsaac & Company.
A member of the British Columbia Bar and the B.C. Trial
Lawyers Association, he services clients throughout
British Columbia. John Godfrey’s practice is focused
on civil litigation with emphasis in the area of injury
claims, and particularly head injury and other serious
trauma and death claims.

Lorne Sinclair (Partner)

Since 1981, Lorne Sinclair has been based in Victoria, serving clients throughout British Columbia. He has focused his law practice on acting for plaintiffs in personal injury, medical and dental malpractice claims. Lorne Sinclair is a past governor on the Board of Governors of the B.C. Trial Lawyers Association and a frequent volunteer with B.C. Continuing Legal Education and Professional Legal Training. He is a member of the British Columbia Bar. When not practicing law, Mr. Sinclair visits his Gulf Island retreat to enjoy family and the beautiful scenery of the Gulf Islands. He kayaks along the shores, hikes the hills, and enjoys prawn and crab fishing in the local waters.

Michael Pohorecky (Partner)
B.A. (Honours) (Sask. ’80), LL.B. (Sask. ’84)

Michael Pohorecky is a member of the
British Columbia Bar. He belongs to the Canadian Bar
Association, Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia,
and American Trial Lawyers Association. He was on the
executive of the Victoria Bar Association for three
years. His practice is focused on civil litigation,
primarily injury claims. Mr. Pohorecky has helped clients
throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

David MacLeod

David MacLeod's practice focuses on criminal defence,
civil litigation and medical malpractice claims and
he has assisted clients throughout British Columbia.
He is an avid golfer and runner.

Erik Y. Magraken
LL.B (UBC, 2002)

Upon obtaining his law degree in 2002,
Erik Magraken articled with the Brian E. Mickelson
Law Corporation in Vancouver, B.C. He then worked as
an associate with Remedios and Company in Vancouver,
carrying on a criminal and civil litigation practice.
Since joining the Victoria office of MacIsaac & Company in 2004 Mr.
Magraken's practice focuses specifically on personal injury claims, particularly those dealing with orthopaedic injuries. Mr. Magraken’s professional associations include
membership with the Canadian Bar Association, the Law
Society of British Columbia, the Trial Lawyers’ Association
of British Columbia and the Canadian Internet Registration
Authority.
