Upon obtaining his law degree in 1975, John Godfrey articled with the Vancouver firm of Farris, Vaughan, Wills, and Murphy. He worked as a prosecutor with the Ministry of the Attorney General for two years and joined MacIsaac, Clark & Company in their Nanaimo office in 1978. Since 1986, John Godfrey has practised out of the Victoria office of MacIsaac & Company. A member of the British Columbia Bar and the B.C. Trial Lawyers Association, he services clients throughout British Columbia. John Godfrey’s practice is focused on civil litigation with emphasis in the area of injury claims, and particularly head injury and other serious trauma and death claims.

Since 1981, Lorne Sinclair has been based in Victoria, serving clients throughout British Columbia.  He has focused his law practice on acting for plaintiffs in personal injury claims, disability benefit insurance claims, motorcycle/motor vehicle injury claims, Wills Variation claims and  medical and dental malpractice claims.  Lorne Sinclair is a past governor on the Board of Governors of the B.C. Since obtaining his law degree from UBC in 2002 Erik has focused his practice entirely on litigation. Edith Lau

Raised in Victoria, Edith Lau holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria.

After articling with MacIsaac and Company, Edith was admitted to the Bar of British Columbia in 2009.  She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.

Edith speaks fluent Cantonese and has worked and studied overseas. She hopes to use her language and cross-cultural skills to assist clients of various backgrounds.

In her spare time, Edith enjoys badminton, volleyball, travelling and spending time with her family.
