|
Myron Plett was admitted to the Bar of British Columbia in 2008. Before entering his career in law, he obtained a degree in music from Brandon University in Manitoba and was a professional classical pianist who performed all across Canada and was recorded by the CBC. He also taught piano, conducted choirs, and directed musical theatre.
Myron’s writing has been published in a variety of newspapers and was instrumental in several Canada Council for the Arts research projects. His fiction has been adapted for broadcast by Radio Canada, the French arm of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
After getting his law degree at the University of British Columbia, Myron practiced for nearly three years in the Victoria office of MacIsaac & Company, primarily in the area of personal injury law. Myron is now a full service lawyer in the coastal community of Ucluelet, ready to take on whatever issues his clients face in their day-to-day lives. In his free time, Myron enjoys cooking, reading, theatre, movies and the sound of the ocean on a stormy day.
