Since 1981, Lorne Sinclair has been based in Victoria, serving clients throughout British Columbia.  He has focused his law practice on acting for plaintiffs in personal injury, medical and dental malpractice claims.  Lorne Sinclair is a past governor on the Board of Governors of the B.C. Trial Lawyers Association and a frequent volunteer with B.C. Continuing Legal Education and Professional Legal Training.  He is a member of the British Columbia Bar.  When not practicing law, Mr. Sinclair visits his Gulf Island retreat to enjoy family and the beautiful scenery of the Gulf Islands.  He kayaks along the shores, hikes the hills, and enjoys prawn and crab fishing in the local waters.

Upon obtaining his law degree in 1975, John Godfrey articled with the Vancouver firm of Farris, Vaughan, Wills, and Murphy. He worked as a prosecutor with the Ministry of the Attorney General for two years and joined MacIsaac, Clark & Company in their Nanaimo office in 1978. Since 1986, John Godfrey has practised out of the Victoria office of MacIsaac & Company. A member of the British Columbia Bar and the B.C. Trial Lawyers Association, he services clients throughout British Columbia. John Godfrey’s practice is focused on civil litigation with emphasis in the area of injury claims, and particularly head injury and other serious trauma and death claims.

Mr. Abbott has distinguished himself during his long career in law, business and public service. He has served as both the federal Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs, and the federal Minister of National Revenue in Ottawa. He has also served as president of the Retail Council of Canada, and in London England from 1980 to 1988, he acted as business advisor and legal counsel in the establishment of a London branch office of a leading central Canadian law firm. Mr. Abbott now resides in Mill Bay on Vancouver Island and serves the surrounding communities.
